Youth Ministry

  • What is Youth Ministry?

Catholic Youth Ministry is “A response of the Christian community to the needs of young people and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the large community.” (Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, U.S.C.C.B.)

Holy Face High School Youth Ministry includes these four components:

    • Faith Learning-which includes evangelization and catechesis.

    • Community-which promotes belonging within the parish and a peer community.

    • Service-which promotes service and justice education.

    • Prayer-which promotes participation in liturgy and the sacraments as well as communal and personal prayer.

A growing youth ministry team meets bi-weekly to plan ongoing events.  Contact our Pastor at 301-994-0525.
